Increase your Client Retention Rate Using Just Elbow Grease!

NEW TIPS!!! NEW TIPS!!! NEW TIPS!!! NEW TIPS!!! NEW TIPS!!! NEW TIPS!!!

Welcome to the BeWell360 Weekly Wellness Report, providing indispensable business tips for today's entrepreneurs!

In this economy, the client is king! People today are pinching pennies. They need to feel they are receiving a service above and beyond what they previously expected in order to shell out the big bucks for pampering treatments and products.

FACT: It costs 6 times more money for a business to secure a new customer than it does to retain an existing one!

Read on to receive some fabulous tips to increase your customer retention rate and ensure a steady income flow.

Kick Your Email Newsletter Into High Gear!

Make sure to set up a regular (weekly or monthly) schedule to email your newsletter to all existing customers. You don't need to pay for high production values, but make sure that each newsletter includes some pertinent wellness information they can benefit from, as well as a 'call to action' such as a coupon or discount on a highlighted service.

I Second That!

Although email should accomplish most of your business communication needs, a handwritten note can speak volumes. Send a personal note to a customer thanking them for a recent purchase and inform them that they can use the note itself to redeem a private offer during their next purchase. Don't forget to create urgency by including an expiration date!

Throw An Open House!

Interfacing with busy customers between appointments can be difficult. Hosting an event (whether at your facility or in conjunction with another local business) is a great way to stay relevant to your client base. Whether you buy appetizers, drinks, and desserts OR offer branding opportunities for a local restaurant to cater it, an open house is a great way to stay relevant to key customers, meet prospects. Consider offering complimentary mini treatments to introduce new services, and encourage people to attend by offering free deluxe samples of products! You can even invite the local media to cover the event and reap the rewards of free advertising to boot!

Welcome to the BeWell360° Weekly Wellness Report, providing indispensable business tips for today's practitioners!

Keep and eye on your Inbox... This is Part 2 in a 3 Part series of valuable hints on how to attract this generation of loyal clients!

Ever wondered how some service entrepreneurs seem to start their holistic, health, wellness or beauty-based businesses with a built-in clientele? Chances are, they are marketing to the "Millennial"--a profitable client profile and niche market for all practitioners to consider.

Outnumbering Baby Boomers, Millennials are characterized as the children of the exercise crazed 1980's who were raised in the midst of the health and wellness revolution.  These consumers are categorically enthusiastic product junkies, a large portion of who research all new lifestyle trends and consider spa visits, gym memberships, elective procedures and beauty treatments a cultural necessity.

So how do health, wellness and beauty practitioners reach Millennials and reap the benefits of their patronage? By staying technologically current, of course!

Cell Phone Applications

There IS an app for that! According to the International Spa Association, "the Four Seasons' app allows you to browse spa services and check room availability for your next stay. The Hot Springs and Spa Finder - California app will guide you to roadside soaks, spiritual retreats and commercial spas. Plan a spa vacation from anywhere with Tripology's app. The Find a Spa app detects your location and displays search results for spas in your proximity..." Take some time and download the industry apps yourself.  Follow them, analyze their features, and contact the companies that provide the best services to customers.  It's an easy and free way to model marketing ideas that inspire you, and this research method can work for any industry, whether you are an energy worker, personal trainer, yoga instructor, or aesthetician.

Google smart phone and tablet apps that have key words associated with your field, and see what directories or search services pop up.  Contact the manager of these apps to seek out information regarding inclusion of your business, or simply snoop the competitors in the area to up your game on offering the best service packages around.  Another investment to consider is to create your own app specifically for your business.  In our fast paced world, customers are looking for businesses that cater to their crazy schedules. Check our companies like appmakr.com to create your iPhone app for free.  When a client can book an appointment with the push of a button, they are more likely to book with you again!

Ever wondered how some service entrepreneurs seem to start their holistic, health, wellness or beauty-based businesses with a built-in clientele? Chances are, they are marketing to the "Millennial"-- a profitable client profile and niche market for all practitioners to consider.

Keep and eye on your Inbox... This is Part 1 in a 3 Part series of valuable hints on how to attract this generation of loyal clients!

These consumers are categorically enthusiastic product junkies, a large portion of who research all new lifestyle trends and consider spa visits, gym memberships, elective procedures and beauty treatments a cultural necessity.

Social Media

57% of 18 to 24 year olds and 48.5% of 25 to 34 year olds say social media influences their choice of a hair salon or day spa. Check out which innovative spas are tweeting, who is facilitating easy appointment booking systems via social networks, and offering of-the-moment deals to loyal followers... and then ask yourself the question: Why aren't you?? It's easy and free to set up a Facebook business page or Twitter account. Offering new customers a nominal amount off a service or membership for 'liking' your page, 'following' your account, or 'subscribing' to your blog is a great way to build an online fan base.

Many small business owners don't know that the greater social media presence they have, the more they will increase their business website's Search Engine rankings on Google and with like minded companies. Think about it: on every LinkedIn or Facebook page, there is a field for you to display your personal website. This isn't just to advertise your site to fans, it is also encoded information that is tracked by Internet analytics. The more back links you have to your website out there on the worldwide web, the greater your Search Engine score, and the higher your website ranking will be when potential customers search your field in Google! Just think how much you can increase your score and your scope by creating free profiles on the net in no time.

How to Use Wellness Products to Boost Your Sales Effortlessly!

Welcome to the BeWell360° Weekly Wellness Report

providing indespensible business tips for today’s Practitioners!

This week we pay tribute to nutritionists, herbalists, eastern medicinal specialists and physical therapists and provide valuable information on wellness products as our Holistic Highlight:

In order to fight obesity, stave off the aging process and increase energy, more people are paying closer attention to the quality of the products they use and consume in order to achieve their wellness goals. Food and beauty products that contain natural and organic ingredients are increasingly appealing to those wishing to look and feel better, and serve as the perfect supplement to a fitness and lifestyle regiment. Here is some data to support your inclusion of health products in your business:
  • According to the Natural Marketing Institute (NMI), U.S. sales of health and wellness goods reached $102.8 billion by 2007, and is expected to increase to $170 billion this year, 2012.
  • Sales of organic health foods and beverages have an average growth rate of 25% per fiscal period versus 4.4% growth of non health oriented products.
  • Sixty-nine percent of Americans are incorporating foods such as products high in Omega-3 fatty acids to prevent diseases, like heart disease (Food Marketing Institute, 2007).

By incorporating products into your service packages for clients, you achieve several goals:

  • You reinforce your standing as a leading wellness professional through your knowledge and use of cutting edge products and techniques.
  • You serve as an educational force that empowers your clients with new-found expertise.

  • You can forge strategic alliances with companies to create win-win relationships: consider promoting locally sourced health foods or products in your services in exchange for presence on the parent product’s website, or receiving a discount on orders in exchange for adding a product advertisement to your brochure!

There are so many ways for you to save and for your clients to gain from partnering with established health and wellness product companies! BELIEVE in the strength and importance of your services- schedule a complimentary business strategy session or utilize one of our upcoming courses at BeWell360° to help you promote your business and fulfill your DREAM.
